The route begins in Lijiang, Yunnan and traverses through the spectacular breathtaking scenery the North-Western part of the province, crosses through the tranquil Mosu minority communities at Lugu lake in Sichuan, before finally ending in Xichang, Sichuan. Important Information & FAQs Cost Trip Costs 13,500 RMB / rider (Limited financial assistance funding potentially available) Trip costs include Airfare* from Beijing / Shanghai / HK (slight additional cost), Transportation, accommodations & main meals, en-route transit (Kunming - Lijiang, Yanyuan - Chengdu), entrance tickets and national park passes, (local guide, tour leader,) support vehicles, T-shirt, route briefings & maps, & bicycles (though we recommend you bring your own bicycle) *Airfare price includes carbon-offset through www.Carbonfund.org Difficulty Moderate – Difficult. This trip involves some riding uphill and longer days over 60km. Riders should be of reasonable cycling fitness but may also opt to ride in the support vehicle if the riding becomes too challenging. Support Vehicles For the cycling days we will have the backup support of a small bus that will carry our luggage, snacks, water, and anybody not cycling. Health Requirements There are no specific health requirements for this trip. However, we do recommend that you carry a well stocked first aid kit with you —one per team—when you travel. All CCC Group Leaders are first aid trained, however, they are not permitted to distribute any medications.
